The man speaks truth.

Now I have to go and see if I can find Danny boyle's Sunshine, if it's anything like as good as that.

Looks like Pedders is elsewhere at the moment......

Multiquoting is very easy

If you write this.....ie the contents of the code box

Code:
[quote="johninblack"]Hello all[/quote]

You will get

johninblack wrote:
Hello all

Now that can be changed like this

Code:
[quote="Some silly old duffer"]Claimed to know what he was talking about[/quote]

Which gives you...

Some silly old duffer wrote:
that he claimed to know what he was talking about

You could even do this

Code:
[quote="Nobody"]anything[/quote]

Gives

Nobody wrote:
anything

Go my children and f~#k with multiquotes Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Pedders is very tired right now and staring at browser windows not updating for over 30 seconds is winding him up good an' proper.... Mad

Excellent stuff from JIB there - remember the pairing of the Quote "tags" when editing a message you are quoting - delete one of a pair by mistake and your clever post will become a tag-fest of garbagious proportions.

Very quickly, what follows is what I suggested before (but it's not the only way)....
1. Click the "Quote" button on the first mail you want to quote.
2. Edit the Message Body so that all that remains is the quoted bit you want and your super witty/knowledgeable/uplifting/controversial response.
3. Highlight all of the resultiing Message Body window and Copy it. (Windows shortcut is Ctrl-A followed by Ctrl-C)
4. Back out of the "Post a reply" screen using the browser's "Back" button.
5. Go to the next message you want to quote and click the "Quote" button.
6. Paste what you previously copied in step 3 either right at the beginning or (more likely) right at the end of what is now in the Message Body window. (Windows shortcut Ctrl-V)
7. Edit the rest of the Message Body as before (Step 2).
8. If you want to quote another one, repeat from step 3 - otherwise click "Preview" to check it looks how you want it to and then Click "Submit"

TIP : In these days of flakey forums, I am developing the habit of doing the select-all-copy step even when I don't plan to paste it into antoher message. If the forum goes udders-up I still have the finely-honed wordage in the paste buffer. Smile

I know what you mean. Very Happy
I get that same feeling halfway through trying to make it sound "easy" (around the same time I'm realising that I've already lost the reader!) Wink

What?? Are you people on the same planet as the rest of us? In me hand at the moment I am holding (and you perver's are free to make up your own jokes) a shining disc containing some of the finest prog rock music the world will ever hear - 'Milliontown' - I say, in my 'and 'cos I took it out ov the player for dramatic effect, and 'ere you are goin' on about 'ho fancies' 'ho and 'ho can get their wassaname in the right place for glorious gratification, blah, blah blah.... I've had it!! Get yur acts togevver and acknowledge the world that is Frostie - pure, clean, cold, untainted, and, forever, magnificent.

Apparently, the world is getting warmer (oh, yeah?) but the spirit is getting colder - let's warm to the cold. Enuff said - night, night.

No, it's a place of loss and quiet desperation, an "Auto-da-Fe" for the modern age; an endless void of recrimination, degredation and shriving for the musical soul.

Apart from that, it's quite fun.

No, it's a giant seabird, reeking of p*ss and failure. Flying across the tundra of despair and alighting upon the head of the galactic scarecrow of defeat.

Other than that, it's rather good fun. Wink

I'm sure there's the sketchy beginnings of a concept track for album 3 in there?!
